I am more than happy to say the parity clause is a bad thing. I am pretty sure I am allowed an opinion just as you are. I just found what I saw to be quite displeasing to me personally. I certainly am not denigrating this game because it may not release on my preferred console. Your excuses are nothing but damage control. It's lists like this that keep proving that your "filtering out the crap" means absolutely nothing, except in confirming your delusional bias. Have fun using one game to try and prove your point against an army of great-looking games on PS4.
Quantitatively? Or just because you are an Xbox fanboy and believe that you now how good (or bad) a game is from looking at a short video and a couple of screenshots?ĭo you think Super Time Force is on par with the other indie games confirmed for the PS4? Most on this list of PS4 indies look as good as Super Time Force, with many of them looking WAY, WAYYYY better and more ambitious (and I'm not even making an effort here, I could go on):ĪND I dare for you to prove to me otherwise. Plus, I'd like to know how you believe STF - as you quote - "destroys" Titan Souls. Two vastly different game types with difference visuals and play styles.
That is like trying to compare Shadow of the Colossus to Bayonetta. "You think this game actually looks good or on par with the other indie games confirmed for Xbox One? Super Time force just completely destroys this game from top to bottom." How sad.ĭigitalRaptor 2636d ago (Edited 2636d ago gamerfan0909
You know, Xbox fanboys cannot deal with PlayStation being ahead in the areas where they have been confirmed to be ahead, so they make up stories to make themselves feel better that they have less choice on a lesser gaming platform. Yeah… Cuphead, Ori and Below are WAY, WAY, WAYYYYYYY more "elite" than any of those "shit" indie games that aren't on Xbone. Why are those last 3 listed as separate? 'Cause those 3 are legit system-selling IPs, larger than ANY Xbone indie game, and larger than even some of the AAA games we've seen so far this gen. You will be playing small scale indie games whilst PS4/Vita/PC gamers will be playing the following, including several large-scale ambitious indie games and games from critically-acclaimed game studios: If I had a morning coffee, I would have spat it out. "I'll be playing real elite indie games like Cuphead, Ori and Below in a few months."
Indie devs are the new blood and some of these guys are going to be the new Naughty Dogs, Rockstars, and Bungies that will try to truly innovate while the majority of AAA studios just renovate.ĭigitalRaptor 2636d ago (Edited 2636d ago ) Gaming isn't static, though it may feel like it here and now because of all of the old blood pushing all of the old ideas, but the truth is, it's always changing and always growing. Devs don't have any credibility until they make a good game and publishers not giving these new devs a chance means that we're gonna keep getting the same crap over and over again.
Know who else once was an untrusted dev? Every developer in the world. Sure, some don't get published because they might be trash, but some are simply start ups from new and untrusted devs and they might not get published regardless of the quality of their game. You're saying all indie games are indie because nobody wants to publish them? You're totally right, it has nothing to do with devs wanting the creative freedom to make the games they want to make without corporate breathing down their necks to make it more "appealing to everyone" like they do with COD, Watch Dogs, etc.
